Okay, so, its been a LONG TIME since ive had to post here. My anxiety was pretty well managed for quiet a long time. An anxiety attack here and there, eh, not bad.
Recently, especially last night, i get the feeling my heart has stopped, i cant breathe and a warmth spreads over me. My PVCs have increasingly gotten more frequent over the last 3 weeks as well as my anxiety. Which brings which, who knows.
My huge question, does anyone ever feel like this?
Ive had 3 EKGs in the last two weeks, seen my cardiologist twice. And seeing my GP 5/16.

Hi Mel and welcome back...
...though sorry it is due to an increase in your anxiety/symptoms recently. :/
It sounds like you have been more than checked out...with multiple EKG's and an all clear from your cardiologist?
Therefore anxiety management should be priority at this time. What is your daily regimen consisting of? Are you keeping up with your coping skills...working hard in your therapy?
If you have room to increase your self help, then that should be in the works...
...if not and you are still struggling, then maybe an Rx consult/evaluation would be a good next step.
Wishing you progress...keep us updated, and we'll keep you cheered on!

SC, Thank You.
I didnt mention the heart stop feeling as it just happened last night, but he didnt seem concerned about
the increase in pvcs. Didnt even want to run an ekg in office because of my recent ones. I had this feeling last week too while hanging up laundry but it goes away so fast i hadnt even thought about
mentioning it to him.
It reminds me of how my panic attacks use to feel when they'd come on, these are just worse. Then again, my anxiety is worse...
Im seeing my GP and asking for a different medication or something and a referral for some kind of therapy.

I got my anxiety workbook back out! Its been well over a year but im going to continue it since i didn't back then!
These next five days cant go by fast enough!
I had a mild "flare" of my anxiety right before my son was born and was hoping it would stay gone for a while now!

I've had that heart stop feeling. It's scary but I was assured by my doctor and cardiologist that it wasn't actually stopping. It was 'just' anxiety. Breathing techniques and positive mantras helped me the most. Glad to hear you are working with your workbook and self helping. Hope it gets easier. These anxiety symptoms and flares and the worst. Best of luck!
