The physical effects of anxiety can be profound, and chest pain as you describe is common....so know that you are not alone.
Continuing to treat the GERD, along with starting anxiety management techniques will be a good plan for relief.
Have you tried anything thus far for reduction/management of stress? Medication and/or therapy are the usual routes people choose.. You can discuss these options with your doctor...
...and we have great self help material to work with at the top of the main forum page here, in the Resources. Practicing the suggested exercises daily will make a big difference in how you feel. 😊
