Advice about trying new medication Anfranil?

I havent posted in a bit on here this has always been a great place for sage advice from personal experience. Im going to the doctor tommorrow to try a new medication. I recently took lexapro generic for two years and it didnt really do anything noticeable so i got off of it and have been suffering depression like i never have had before in my life. which has definately gotten better as the time has gone on, no complaints. Ive been looking into Anfranil ive never tried a trycyclical but it supposedly helps mostly with ocd which is my primary culprit. Just wondering about anyone who had good experience with this specific drug in treating their ocd/anxiety? thanks much

Thanks so much i knew it was a little bit of an older med, but thats it. i spoke with my counselor today and will be talking with the psychiatrist soon to see what he thinks. I will definately keep everyone updated hopefully it will be helpful.
