My story

No medicines. I have this way before starting ativan. I have chills if I touch something colder. It's like I have a flu but I dont. Tomorrow i will check my thyroid. Dunno what else to do.

I think with the level of anxiety you are currently in...that anything is going to be a challenge for now.

However, know that these s/e's are temporary...and a means to an end...breaking the anxiety cycke, and gaining management!

Practice coping skills faithfully to get you through this time. It will get easier.

I am sorry to hear about your migraine! That is really tough...and can certainly increase one's anxiety.

Be gentle with yourself and get the rest and treatment you need to feel better physically...

I'll ditto what SC said earlier - gastrointestinal issues are often linked to anxiety, which is another way of saying that anxiety is linked to gastrointestinal issues...

I feel as though my physical symptoms cause my anxiety, but i assume there is some underlying issue that is causing the manifestation of the physical symptoms. Thus my subconscious anxiety causes physical symptoms which then leads to conscious anxiety.

Regardless of the cause, I often have gastro issues. I went gluten free for a year and that helped, although I think it wasn't the gluten as much as the feeling of doing something proactive. I'm essentially gluten free now, but I still occasionally get heartburn, diarrhea, loss of appetite, etc. And then when I get these symptoms, I convince myself that it's something more, and the anxiety cycle continues...

Once again ditto to what SC said, especially the part about breathing. It sounds dumb, but when I consciously take time to breathe, I always feel better.

I would trust what your doctor says in evaluation of these numbers. If he/she is not worried, neither should you be.

Some people just run slightly above or below the 'normal'. What medical professionals are looking for is a very out of range reading, or a combination of conditions that signal a red flag. (the discrepancy in your #'s could also be caused by a passing viral infection and your next test would be just fine)

If you were not called in to discuss any issues regarding your CBC, then you don't have reason to worry. I have had similar slightly out of the norm results myself...I know it's hard...but try to trust your doctor on this.
