I have posted this on another forum but this one seems to be busier.....For the past 6 months i have become really stressed and anxious i have an eye condition which worsened and i have had a corneal transplant about a month ago,before the operstion they took a urine sample whoch had traces of blood in which really made my health anxiety dhoot through the roof Dr google convinced me i had kidney or bladder cancer i repeated the test 5 or 6 times since with no traves of blood to be found anyway just over a month ago i had my transplant when i came round after the anasthetic i had a major panic attsck which i had never had before shsrp pins and needles and xouldnt breathe,since that day i had continual inner body vibrations from the minute i wake up to the minute i go to sleep these happen in my head my arms back stomache and legs when im walking it seems like my body is jilting and jumping it is really weird and horrible this has been happening for over a month.i have seen 3 different doctors who are all putting this down to stress?so my questions is can stress really do this? I am converned i have an underlying neuro problem such as MS,im worried the doctors are assuming im makin it up cus of previous health anxiety i wouldnt of thought stress can make your body shake and jump allday for over a month!!!any replies and opinions would be appreciated thankyou

We are glad that you've found us, though sorry it is due t anxiety and the distressing symptoms you're experiencing currently.

It is not uncommon for a health issue/procedure/surgery to be a trigger for anxiety onset, or worsening of existing anxiety...and it sounds like this may be your experience recently.

From the wording of your last paragraph, I am gathering that health anxiety has been a pattern that has caused you to explore possible illnesses in the past...therefore you can probably be sure that the current worries you're struggling with have been ruled out...

...so you can now put your focus on anxiety management.

What if any treatment have you tries thus far? Medication, therapy and self help are the most common and effective options.

If you've not talked to your doctor about the first two, then I encourage you to make a consult appointment for this purpose.

The latter, (self help) you can find at the top of the main forum page here in our Resources...including specific help for H/A. Have a look at the great material available there...

...and keep posting if you find it helpful. We care, understand and support is key!

Thankyou for your reply appreciate it.the docs have put me on propropinol twice a day which isnt really doing much and i am currently on the waiting list for health anxiety therapy which i believe will do me good as i am constantly thinking about it and i am always on google which i know is the wrong thing to do.i have never had anxiety or stress up untill 6 months ago and i am 31 years old so this is all bee to me i just really wish this body vibrating and internal shakes would dissapear

Anxiety is such a horrible thing...makes so many physical symptoms come out and generally make one's life miserable. I've been dealing with it longer than I care to!

Anyway, I think blood can be in your urine for a countless number of reasons, many temporary and benign. Actually it's pretty amazing our kidneys filter our blood and don't hardly let any blood pass through to begin with.

Hang in there...sounds like you've made it through the surgery great and on your way to recovery. smile

Post often as we all have been where you are anxiety-wise and can offer advice as well as support!

Thanks for your reply,the eye surgery went well but i suppose i have been worried about that for months previous then my health anxiety kicked in withbthe blood in urine but ive since done repeat urine tests which were all clear.its jsut these body vibrations now which is constantly on my mind which no doubt makes it worse
