Not sure if anyone is a sports fan on here or not. But Kevin Love of the Cavaliers (NBA Champion and 5 time all star) posted something on The Players Tribune regarding mental health and having a panic attack mid game!

Yes! I emailed him and told him how thankful I was that he spoke out. I hope he uses his platform more to raise awareness. So awesome!

Hi Hibee! Being from the Cleveland area I was particularly interested in Kevin Love's panic attack confession and read his article with much anticipation. I am so pleased that he would tell the world that he is HUMAN. I am sure he has helped the cause by letting people know that they don't have to be ashamed to admit to having anxiety/panic. I was thrilled, also, that he has the support of the CAV's team and Cleveland. Best wishes to you Kevin...we are with you!

We know how debilitating panic can be and how we try to avoid these attacks at all cost. I haven't written in a while thinking that reading on this site could trigger new anxiety/panic attacks. Your kind words Hibee and Scaredy Cat, not to mention those who have passed on, have helped me through many a rough time over the years. I, like many of you, have "good days" and "rough days" not to mention some awful days. I am having a bumpy one right now and am working on making it pass - hopefully without the Klonopin! I wish all of you happy days, and pray that someday sites like this won't be necessary because we will have licked the son-of-a-gun!
