brain fog

Hey guys....quick question. lately I have been really anxious...actually, for about a month now....and the worst part is that i get this feeling that it is so difficult to concentrate or focus well. Is that a common complaint with an anxiety disorder? I know that i have a problem with anxiety...at times it drives me up the wall for half the day, however, even when it is not bad i still have this clouded head feeling. I feel best when I wake, then feel progressively worse as the day goes...is that common?

I suffer from fibro and anxiey but I feel my fog comes from the fibro because I was having those problems before I started having anxiety. It can really get scary sometimes I thought I might be having alztimers but it wasn't.

Welcome Papitodd. Foggy head is very common with anxiety sufferers. If it bothers you to a point you just can't take it anymore, talk to your doc and see if he can give you something to help with the anxiety. Good luck!

Yup foggy head was on many symtoms becuse when you are anxious your pupils dilate brining more light than necassary try do some meditation for about ten fifteen minutes a day

I am not ure that I have had THAT brain fog but for me, I feel overwhelmed by everything when I have anxious days and don't think straight. I think it's from being oversensitized when my body only wants to think and monitor itself despite having to carry on with life.
