Here is a little one-- I had my eyes numbed and fooled with 4 separate times today.  I hate having anyone mess with my eyes or my teeth.  I had to relax.  I did it.  I finally went to the appointment and got it over with.  Yeah!

yes, I do. And I'm really glad it's over with. One thing I find with anxiety is that the worrying is much more uncomfortable than doing the thing that I worry about (at least in most cases :)

I decided to kick dang self in the butt and stop letting this DD plus depression get to me ruin me and my happy (usual) self
I had to take 3 poor little kitties to Humane society.......Kept putting it off and putting it off no I dont feel good abouthaving to but I know that they will find loving homes I cannot have 5 cats and birds
that is not working for me
I am so mad at self for being depressed yet not admitting it and doing something about it so I have been last couple of days getting away from puter and doing SOMETHING anything ........

Sorry to hear about the cats but I'm sure they will get good homes and good for you :-)

Today I droped out my wife at work and went into a small dinner and had some biskets and gravy something I haven had in sometime now, I was shaking so bad my knees where knocking lol but no one even seemed see it but the young lady serving me, but all she said was I know how u feel it's real cold outside today -4 the last I heard. So I got to blame the shaking on the cold but I did start to feel better after while and now I feel great that I did it alone, well I shouldn't put it that way WE DID IT!

and I know what u mean by the puter being a life sucker so think of some good things to do and less time on the life sucker bye now.

I went out and bought a bikini for the first time since I was 16.  I'm planning to wear it on Saturday at the beach.  In public!!!! yeah

  Man o live that is one of the things I miss about the lower 48 not trying to say I'm a dirty old man but you just don't have the hot summer's and the fun of going swimming it's more like u hit the rivers and get your fish and in the fall u jar up your garden and then go hunting for your meat and cut up the wood for the long dark winters but I do miss water sking and having the fun of just joy riding in the boat. I think the only tan u see here is in a tanning booth but that is my way of life sometimes I feel like I should have been born 150 years ago lol

I think your right but I would like to see more and more of us posting, I see a lot of veiwers so there is an intrest in braking out and living again I know it's helping me and I still have a some fight in me to get out of the hole I dug for myself. But what really sicken's me is that 6 months pryer to me going out is that I had a check up and was showing the signs of chemical poisoning with body rashes and chemicals in my blood work  skull but not much was knowen about it until after the gulf war, and I might of had a cance to be retrained and not be here today. I think that the family Doctors need to step up to the plate and see what today's stresses are really doing to us.

I took myself to the movies. I dont usually do much alone unless it HAS to be done. I survived even tho it wasnt easy. and some kid called me ma'am :( Am I getting to old?

I WENT to Michaels TODAY by MYSELF and bought art supplies.

I've been driving by the store or I'll just sit in the parking lot and stare at the store and want to go in SOOOOOO bad but fear of a panic attack keeps me away.

So I WENT today and I just LOVED it, got a little panikcy for a moment here and a moment there but I'd just breathe and distract myself.

I LOVED It and it was WAAAAAY outta my comfort zone as it's in a busy area and I just had so much fun! hahaha

So now I'm painting away the night LOL

 I went to a brightly lit restaurant last night for dinner with some friends, I dreaded it all day yesterday I had panic over going thinking I am not going to make it there it is to bright. We got there at 6 and the first thing I did was unscrew the light bulb at our table lol, we started talking and before we know it was 8 PM couldn't believe I was there that long. If only everyday could be as panic free and thought free of the what Ifs as last night was

 It can be, just look and see the chains are braking for us, that are putting anxiety aside and just doing it and are happy about it. Keep up the good work and LIVE.

I got in my car (alone) and went shopping at KMart. It sounds like a little thing but a month ago I would not have been able to do this. I have been going grocery shopping and going to the Mall by myself for the past few weeks.

You're not alone freezing!! I love that you keep inspiring us to be positive (and not just whine).  Today I asked my boss to please hire another receptionist because I am sick of working six days a week and she said yes!! yeah

  Even though I try not to grip or vent off and such at times,  I just like to think that my world could be better but then I see someone bond in a wheelchair and can not fend for themselfs I feel more blessed  and the more I can help you and me makes me feel better about myself and as a group we can make it, even if it takes babysteps to do so.

So let's keep at it and post your new steps the more positive post the better so that we will all feel better and keep up the good work so that more of us will keep on trying to better are selfs. just remember that when one see's others are trying soon they too will try.

I totally agree thats why we have the Happy thread as well as the Inspiration threads .......
Positive feedback always helps IMO

If all you are doing is dwelling on your depression and A/P then thats all you will be is depressed anxious and panicky so lets do post here and on other ones get th board a jumping like it was before ya know

My trip to Lyns is a massive amount of baby steps into a giant leap of faith with friends on the other end. I now not only have a flight booked but a rental car (my first rental car). it will be a long process getting up that waybut one step at a time ill get up to the land of the canucks(sp) yet lol. Next order of buisness...How to pack for like 9 days lol. I think this might be my longest trip to date. Hmm more firsts hehe. One step at a time...I keep breaking it into small tasks so as not to get over whelmed. Someone make sure I pack warm things hehe.

I made myself go to class yesterday even tho I was in panic/anxiety mode. Someone in class mentioned I was looking pale, I simply said I didnt feel well and it was left at that. Point is tho I made it to and through class without leaving mid class to "hide". I did that the first time through school I missed almost half of every class to hide in the bathroom (no wonder I didnt learn much).

I dont think they are that big just alotta littles. I am also trying to get a planner going so I stop forgeting things and setting myself off. I am tempted to try and o shoping alone for clothes but I need the $$ the time and the energy ontop of needing the nerve

I think I'd run out of class if I were in college, everyday, then go to my car and just sit there and smoke a ton of cigs.

And FLYING!! I want to go on a plane. *tear* lol

  Today I didn't just take a step I jumped, I have been putting off going to DMV to change over my plates to my truck and had been dreading it all month long so I had changed over the plates from the car to the truck since the tags had exp. and driving it that way all month long (yips) I walked right in filled out the papers, then waited for my number to be called I then when up and told her what I needed (keeping a cool head the whole time) I did start getting a little sick feeling but not from my anxiety but from the perfume she had on so I just covered my mouth and steped back some (I have a chemical sensativity and can get really sick from the exposure) Then I drove to the next town and signed a release form for all my medical papers from my former Doctor and from the State Vocational Rehabiltion, stating all my disability's and that they could not help me. I was feeling so darn good that I when't ahead and got my kids 4h horse recored book for her and I didn't even take that little white pill (YES) yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
