HEY Sad,
I am surprised by your self control,he knows that you know? And he still has the balls to say he has a right to be there. He hasn't apologized or attempted to even talk to you to offer you an explaination if nothing else? I would become abusive.Or at the very least vindictive-----you should find out from the other woman what the situation is and what he told her about your marriace,if he has a cell phne call the cell co and ask for copies of the last 6 months bills,call every # that you are not familar with that shows up on the bill frequently.Find out if he told her lies about you being seperated or having an open marriage(my step dads favorite)or if she's just a stank ass home wrecker that has no problem sleeping with married men. It would also be a good idea to go get tested for std's lord knows that he could've caught something and gave it to you.and who knows if this is the first time---from what you sd he sounds very brazen.Just for fun i would tell the other woman that he has gonapsphaherpesaids....or you could pick only one but make sure it's a"forever" disease....I'd go with herpes.He seems to have had a good time at your expense you should atleast have some fun at his.I am so sorry for all that you are going through.Do you have a friend or family member you and the kids could stay with? Also while you are seperated sue for spousal/child support.I would make him suffer!

This post caught my eye and I wanted to chime in. I discovered my husband of 11 years was having an affair this summer. Our marriage was far from perfect, but the pain and humiliation was mind-boggling. We have an 8 year old daughter and I couldn't imagine how he could do this to her. Getting a divorce is bad enough, but adding the insult of infidelity to the mix is so hard. It puts us, the women, in the position of having to not say anything bad about our childrens' daddies, when the truth is that they chose sex with another person over vows and loyalty to their families. I am in the process of divorce that should be finalized in a month or so. It sucks, but you will survive. And your children will survive. They are remarkably resilient and can see the truth. Also, guilty men tend to be generous in their settlement agreements. Hope that holds true for you.

Hi I usually post in "depression" but this thread caught my eye.
UGH unfaithful partners! My gawd they have no idea what they do to the other person when they pull this crap.
Sad,here is a tidbit for you....my kids were so realived when I left their dad. He was abusive,he cheated, ect ect. Expecially since your kids have "seen him in action" believe me,he has lost most of their respect. It amazes me how someone can turn a family upside down.
I agree with the other members about not bad mouthing him with the kids. He has made his bed with him so you are not going to have to say a word.
Now, remember this for the long run.......not all men are the same. It took me a long time to figure that out. But,I still struggle with that with my b/f. And it is something that hurts our relationship. Their is light at the end of the tunnel,and you are able to walk out of this marriage with YOUR head up high. Him...well he will be crawling out with his tail between his legs.

Sad and Angry

I found out that my partner of 5 years had been having an affair on the 28th of December 2006. it has only been a week or so since I found out. I fully understand your anger. Right now, I just survive from day to day. some days i am actually almost human - other days I am volotile and I want to hurt him so badly. I want him to feel the pain that I am going through. It is also like I am obsessed with needing to know every detail of what went on. I force him to tell me and then I feel sick with the knowledge. Constantly, in my mind I replay what I imagine the meetings with her were like. I am losing weight, my health is deteriorating, I don't sleep. sleeping pills don't even seem to help me. I want him to suffer and I want her to pay for what she has done. I do not see a way out of this pit of hell for a long time.
