Normal is here got here yesterday afternoon and we all decided to go into Chatham ( city) WELL

I have never nor do I ever leave the house w/o ativan or valium in my purse ESPECIALLY when going to city malls n shopping

BUT I did and I did not ask her to turn around said out loud "I am ok" "I can do it" "good to go"

 

We went to City Centre Mall and ate inside the mall food court I had NO problems whatsoever

 

Then last night whilst watching a movie with all the gals we ( both michelle) and I noticed that we had not been stressed out at ALL,

My point being I had a ( my A/P Buddy right here with me and I felt great) I was good ya know

If she had not been her I would have been on forums and her on in her home as well 

 we talked looked thru pics and such I felt like she had come home ya know and I think she felt comfy coming in as well

We had a good night and are going bowling later this afternon I think

Cait wants to spend her time shopping

Still thinks Mom has that " good ole money tree out back EH "   yeah

Just wanted to share that it is great to meet some of the ppl here if you ever get the chance you really are connected ...in so many ways and it feels sooooooo good to have her here and hear the laughing from all of us

Major congrats mom!  I was quite proud of you last night. Wonder if we can keep all that courage up all week long.

How great you two! Im so happy that she made it there, and you guys are having such a good time. I think all of us could benefit from each other, i know being there would help me ;) have so much fun, and keep us posted, HUGE HUGS

Great you guys!  have tons of fun, you need and deserve it.  Do you guys live close to eachother, it is really great to have friends who understand and shoulders to cry on.  It is so nice you guys are able to see eachother. 

It is amazing the strength we able to give eachother and the things we can accomplish.

It is amazing the power of a visit with a fellow sufferer!!!! Really Guys, Lyn and Michelle have proved it, if you ever get the chance to meet with a fellow sufferer grab it with both hands, it is a brilliant experience!!!!

Yes I totally agree to have someone with you knowing what you are feeling and you are able to " basically feed" off each other and support one another to the extent where it ( panic and anxiety barely occurs ) is awesome
I was so happy but as I said worried at first then decided I would be fine and I was ...

We live in different Countries
I am in Canada ( Ontario ) and Lil One is from New Jersey ...........
Helping out is easy when you UNDERSTAND and know what it is other is feeling as you all know
This board is fantastic , and you meet great friends and then you are able to do what we did
I do recommend it for those able to partake

it has been great had mac and cheese last night home made but it plyed havoc with crohns so belly not feeling best right now

LOL Twiggy we could have done that at " wild zone" a BIG tourist place for ppl all over and we even went there and still made it A little bit of anxiety but we got thru it

She is doing fabulous...We even survived the bowling adn the arcade yesterday.  We been trying to have a blast no matter the anxiety.  (She can spot it on me a mile away lol)  Just all have to remember one step at a time....And then sometimes you take an accendental leap...and survive...like when lyn left her meds home and made it to and from the mall.  We all gotta remember to keep taking those little steps.

Lyn, I'm so happy for you and Michelle. Friends are Angels in disguise and you got a chance to spend time with one of your Angels - you helped each other - gave each other a little bit of wind beneath each others wings. Bless you.

Exactly Hopeful great way to put it
I was out of commision yesterday due to crohns but girls went out to movie and dinner and played board games
I loved listening to them all chuckle and cackle like hens it makes the heart full of love and happiness for all
Am hoping today will bring a better day healthwise for me and yet still a quiet one to bring in a new year to wish one another all the best to support one another to reach their goals and dreams
It can be done I promise
I dont break promises they come from heart

Since the bowling I have been in a crohns flare and not really with it ya know not overly anxious but anxious with Howies way of "always wanting to discipline cait or his lil remarks get on my nerves as they have and did yesterday '
Was up til just before New years and then out like a light ........
Am breaking out in sores no the reasons behind them is family again all in my head playing with my head ya know
Lil sis brought her son to have dad babysit him while she went out boozing
NOW anyone see anything wrong with that pic at all Dad has Alzheimers ......and needs a caretaker himself so what the H*** is she thinking
I will be finding out today for sure I am fed up with it
Will see the doc tomorrow to see if I will need an IV or not .....

Lil one feels like she belongs here and it is cozy with her here as well
I have no issues there at all lol we are knowingly and sometimes unknowlingly helping one another out in our a/p moments or times
It is a great help for me to have someone pick up on it as she does .
I am gonna quit whinning as its not been all bad we have had fun even just watching TV but I feel bad that I am keeping her in so hopefully I will be up and running later today or at least by tomorrow again ya know

New sores as I posted and now an IV in since yesterday one sore on neck not good but hoping it will clear up hurts like Hades '
Girls are great letting me rest and keep my bed rest up so i will ge thru this in no time ''
We are off to the market today
LOTS of ppl so I will be helping her and her me thats what it is all about
I know I am gonna break when she goes

I just knew it was going to be a great trip...How wonderful it is to feel and touch the support of good friends and HW family. I am so happy and proud of both of you what strong women you are and what great examples for Cait really for all of us. Keep up the good work girls you are an inspiration.

I do have a question about the Ativan - I love it - it works for me so, so well.

How long have you been taking it, and is it on a need basis, or routine daily dosage...

Thanks for the support/congrats guys...It has been a heck of a week but god therapy lol...Done many things this week I probably would not have done otherwise.  I am sure Lyn will be on to post more of this weeks accomplishments.

** BTW I am allowed up to 3 1 mg a day if I need it and when broke out in the pyoderma I do usually have to take as RX but I am trying not too and it is kinda backfiring on me sores are getting worse .......**

Ativan is a great short acting fast acting anxiety med and it does help out many .......
