My wife and I got ourselves a treadmill for Christmas and we put it together New Year's Day right in front of the TV in the bonus room. I have been on it just about
every day since and it has really improved my sense of well being. I have gained 30 lbs since meeting my wife in college and always wanted to be that slender guy again. I have seen some quick improvement and my anxiety seems to be more controllable now. I just was on it for 45 minutes this morning. At first, I got panicky on the treadmill since I felt my heart racing and some chest pain from my muscles being tight (clean bill of health from several doctors ), but now I am getting accustomed to the feeling and now it is addicting. I have gotten my heart rate up to 165 bpm and now if I get a little panicky during the day and my heart races, I know that it races much higher when I exercise. Good stuff!!
I plan to get back to my 160 lbs and improve my golf game this summer. I also want to be healthy for my first child that is due in a couple of weeks. I think this exercising stuff works for anxiety!
