I was getting a haircut yesterday, and my hairdresser told me she saw a mole on my head that looked different than it usually does. My anxiety went through the roof. I have an appointment to see the doctor in a week, and will discuss it with him, but in the meantime I was hoping somebody could give me some advice from now 'til then and if they send it out to get biopsied, on how to not go through the roof with my anxiety. It's one thing to have anxiety over something that chances are is imaginery but this is something somebody else noticed(not that she is a doctor or anything) but I am not making up these symptoms and this makes me very nervous. I am literally shaking right now. Trying not to think about
it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure what to tell you except to try and stay away from searching the web for diagnosis...try and keep your mind distracted and stay away from what ifs...

Michelle is right, try not to dwell on the small chance that something is wrong....stay positive and try and distract!!!! Hard, I know, but try to get out and smile. My thoughts are with you

Do your best keep positive, chances are its nothing or that you caught it early. When your feeling stress try to get some excerise and use some breathing techniques. Its not easy when you have a health scare but it seems worse when your someone fighting anxiety. Take someone with you to the doctors, it really helps to have someones hand to hold. Good luck and let us know what happens.

do you have anything to take for panic attacks to get you over the hump. If you do take it. Then tell yourself it's okay! Try to keep busy as you can so you have less time to think about
it. Try to breath ! I know it is hard. I have been there and the shaking is the worst. I dont think I could have made it threw the haircut or to the car with out going nuts. Good luck and let us know what happens

Be thankful that your hairdresser found the mole.
I have had moles that looked weird that I went to the
dermatologist and they turned out to be fine.
My sister had a mole removed that was cancerous.
They removed it and she's fine. It's a good idea to
get all of your moles checked by a qualified doctor
(dermatologist) on a regular basis, for everyone.
Keep busy in the meantime! Think positive.
God Bless you
