Anxiety and ocd seems to run in my family now the dog too!

 okay this is kinda funny to me But I took in a little lap dog a while back and she is the sweetest dog ever. Would never hurt a fly and loves to play with the kids! and loves to greet everyone with a kiss. However my family thinks she has doggy OCD. She has to make these half circles all the way from the kitchen to the living room. I dont know why she does it but only does it after we have been playing with her. I love this dog soo much and she truly has helped with my anxiety cause when I am upset she is there to lay her little head in my lap. But I was wondering is it possible for a dog to have doggy OCD?  I really am not trying to offend anyone or make of fun of anxiety or OCD but I was just wondering ? So please no one take this the wrong way.

I seriously think that a dog or any other sort of animal has some type of illness as human's do. The reason I say this is because alot of animals go through depression when they lose a "loved" one.. whether it be another animal or it be there care taker. Im sure if you have any question's he'll be able to help you with them, and if reading online doesnt work out for you go to your local library and check out cesar millan's book on dogs.. Hope this helps with your question.. and I do believe that some dogs/cats/ even exotic animal's all go through some type of illness no matter what it is called for us humans...

Well.. I SWEAR my dog has panic attacks at the vet because she starts hypervenalating and freaking out and trying to escape...

and is SO stressed and when we get home from the vet she is SO exhausted that she passes out...

but I am not taking her to a pro to even have that judged...

I think dogs can just as easily have mental disorders as we humans can.

Casey is panicky, and OCD.  She too, spins endlessly in circles when she needs to go outside or is about to go anywhere or if she's anxious after I clip her nails.. she spin in circles and circles and circles...
