How long does it take zoloft

to fully work? I have been having what I think is full body tension. Muscle aches???does anyone else experience this? and have been taking it for three weeks now. I have stopped panicing but not worrying about what could be wrong with me...still having bad dreams ...muscle aches...
things that have gotten better are hyperventilating, having to run to the bathroom from being so nervous, complete panicing.

Thanks for any help...is this muscle tension that I'm causing myself. See I did this last year and took zoloft for a different problem and had so many tests run and nothing wrong so this time I just went right to the doc and got back on it...don't think I will come off this time.

Most antidepressants take about 4 weeks to work. I took zoloft for a couple of years but switched to Lexapro and now am on Celexa and Remeron. You may be so uptight that you are causing the muscle stress. Yoga is a good way to get stretched back out. If it is still not helping call your doctor and discuss it with them. You may need something to help you relax also.

will hopefully start working soon, you need to be taking at least 50 to have a chance of it working for you

a similar antidepressant eventually started working for me after 5 and a half weeks, cut in without any earlier signs and then helped me a lot

may help to take it just before bed
