burning sensation in chest?

i was just wondering if anyone durning a panic attack, have u felt burning in your chest?

HiGreydays, i have felt a tight feeling in chest with panic attacks. the burning feeling i get also and i associate that to heartburn.I suggest to watch what you eat and log it into a diary to see what causes the burning in the chest. does it burn into your throat also?Also dont lie down after you eat, that can trigger heart burn. I feel that people with anxiety can develope heartburn.stress can upset the stomach, and cause problems like heatburn. just keep an eye on this...have a good day....

Ok, There is really no way to describe what I felt. It wasn't heartburn, it was like tingling sensations? I don't know, I have never had them before either.

Hello. I havent gotten what you describe in my chest, but I have gotten a symptom similar to that in my upper arms at times. It feels to me like an icey hot feeling( that ointment you rub on sore muscles)almost like the inside of you feels warm and tingly. I usually get that feeling from my elbows up to my shoulders and usually during the night for some reason.

YES in chest and down left arm. icy hot feeling with a flush face. you have LOW Manganese levels.also may ask do get cramping sometimes when not having a panic attack in your hands or feet?

I've read about this once. It's some kind of acid that gets into your muscles or something. Sorry I don't know more. I just remember it's a normal biological response to panic and there's some reason for it. Prevents injury, allows the muscles to absorb more oxygen....something like that.

I wouldn't let it add to your worries. I've felt it in the bottom of my feet before and in my shoulders. It's kind of weird, isn't it? Not uncomfortable, really. Just odd. There are glands in your underarms. Perhaps they're producing the stuff that's causing the sensations? Don't know.

Ive had this feeling and it tended to come right up into my throat too. I felt I couldnt swallow anything...not even a drink. It did pass but it wasn't very nice at the time. Its happened a few times with panic attacks.
