my sister starts taking it tommorrow and starts taking half of her trazadone.

 I would say why she takes it but i rather not. Not good. Prefer not to make anyone cry.

its an atypical antipsychotisc, these are currently being prescribed as a miracle cure for everything except ingrowing toenails by some impressionable docs

she is blind, partially mentally handicapped. If she gets mad or upset at something which isn't often she will attack someone . She grabbed at my mom and scratched her and pulled on her and wouldn't let go. She is on 2 other meds as well and prescribed this and cutting one of the other meds in half. She doesn;t do it much , but 3 times a year or so. Noone is even for sure if she does it on purpose or doesn't know. Of course, noone wants my input on it. After she does it she acts like she didn't mean it though. But its usually at an unexpected time.

I think its worth trying, some experimenting with the dose may help later

teazodone is usually taken as a sleeping pill and if so, should be taken when actually in bed as it can work very quickly

make sure she is actually swallowing the tablets

Geodon is an antipsychotic used to treat aggitaion, bipolar and schizophrenia, it blocks dopamine and serotonin receptors in the brain which suppressess many of the negative aspects of schizophrenia. I am a student nurse and one of my pts was on it and said it was the most helpful med she has been on it, but she did sleep alot with it. Hope this helps.

Geodon is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia. The main concern with this medication is it’s capacity to prolong the QT interval.

she takes this pill about 2 hours earlier then the other pills. I still have no idea why she takes pills before bed though.

very very bad last 2 days. She is on a tranquilizer pill and is asleep right now. She has been acting up very very bad. She is non stop cussing and screaming and saying she hates me, hates mom, hates doctor whoever, says every cuss word she has ever heard , almost in a voice thats not even hers. She is reaching out to grab us and throwing things and we have moved everything that she can possibly throw in the living room and her room.

Not sure whats gonna happen when she wakes up. her pych doc says if we can't get her calm tonight to call the amublance, they will give her a shot and then people from greeriver health would do something but not sure what.

If me and my mom can't even grab a hold of her i don't think an abulance crew could . Don't think she would get in the car to let us take her there. We got lucky today and she did go to the doc today but it was pure hell.

The tranquilizer is seroquel so not sure how long she will be asleep especially since she didnt fall asleep til lik 5 am last night and then woke up around 10 .

She screamed and cussed from 9 pm to 4 am non stop the entire time and very loud. Noone knows why. My mom even thought its a multiple personality or even autism , she is 30 and blind and mentally handicap but not as mentally as most and she doesnt look like a normal blind person. He eyes are straight which is rare actually.

She takes geodon, a seizure med even though she hasn't had one in over 5 or so years and takes trazadone also
