wow thanks a lot....makes me feel better but i just cant shake this ANXIETY!!!! Ive never had a hallucination or hear voices, but i think about it all the time!! Im to the point where when i hear my conscious thoughts i assure myself that they are coming from my mind, which they are. AHHHH why do i worry about this stupid stuff?? lol
I always hear my conscious thoughts. Hm. I've never thought much about
it. Sorry to go off topic, but it's an interesting question: When people think, do they talk (not out loud) while they're thinking? I just noticed while typing this that my tongue moves around sometimes mimicking the words I'm thinking about
.
Anyway, back to your problem. "Health Anxieity" is very common among anxiety sufferers. That may be what's going on with your worry about
hallucinations and voices. Mental health anxiety, if you will. Basically, you need to relax. Easier said than done. If we could just relax, this board wouldn't exist. You have to learn how to do it. Sometimes a medicine helps you to get started, but I don't think that's necessary for everyone. For me it sure was.
My advice for now is to read through a bunch of the posts on this message board, and pay attention to the responses more than the questions themselves. You'll find some techniques for dealing with it. Everyone's different and has to take their own path, of course, but when you set out to get better it helps to be familiar with how others are coping.
You'll be fine in the end. It's hard right now but you'll get there.
