A little good news for everyone!

I just wanted to post here as a way to help those who are suffering with anxiety/panic/depression.  I am finally coming out of a 1 1/2 year of being sick mentally and physically with anxiety.  I just looked back on my posts through the last year and I feel so happy to be where I am now.  I was really really bad with my anxiety.  I was diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder.  I had every mental symptom mentioned on these posts and them some.  I also got physically sick.  I supposed it all stemmed from anxiety.  I wanted to die.  But I am finally almost back to normal.  With meds and therapy I have improved so much.  I don't think I will ever be who I used to be before this happened, but that may be a good thing.  I just want to inspire those of you who are at the bottom, I know how it feels.  I really thought I was losing it, I almost gave up.  I made it out alive!!  And probably a lot smarter.  So hang in there everyone.  This too shall pass.

That's great aquarias, I'm also hopefull that after 14months I'm nearer a place where everything is finally starting to come together as well.

  That's great news I myself have not had a P/A in 5 months now and feeling good about it too, it's so good to hear others are doing better now and can prove that it can help to talk about it and show others that we can win, good job girl

I feel about the same way: I'm almost back to normal, but I will never be the same person again and that may not necessarily be a bad thing. I'm very happy for you and everyone else who's made progress. To those who feel they haven't, don't worry...your time will come. Stay persistant, learn to know when fight and when to back off and relax, get yourself the proper medical care. Treatment of anxiety/panic is usually successful even if it's not 100 percent perfect (and nobody's 100 percent perfect anyway!). It may take time but you'll get there.
