I just feel sooooooooo down! I got some anxiety this a.m. and feel really depressed. I keep telling myself to Face, Accept, Float thru it, and Let time pass. Sometimes it's harder than others...
I'm on the max of Paxil CR for GAD, so why isn't it helping my depression now?

Hi there..........hey I think we are on the same page, as my week has been not so good either. I do not know why the sadness just comes back, but it does and that leads to anxiety.
How long have you been on the Paxil?
Some times the meds poop out and everyone is different so perhaps the Paxil is not working as well as it should. I would suggest talking to your physician re how your feeling.

i can only tell you my experience with paxil, and it didnt work. i was at the max dose and i seemed to be getting worse. it may be time to talk to your doc. and let him/her know that its not helping you, or just how your feeling. hope it gets better soon.

I just wanted to let you know I did real well with Paxil for about 5 yrs and back this past March I had to have emergency gall bladder surgery so after a few weks went by the Paxil wasn't working as well so the dr change me to Zoloft and its been 10 weeks as of today and i'm still improving on the new med. So it may be time for a change in your medicine. Just thought I would let u know that sometimes you have to switch the meds your on.

Thanks all.
I haven't been on paxil for a full year yet. It was definitely helping my GAD. Now my IBS is making me run on empty (pun intended!) and I feel like nothing is ever going to be right...negative thinking...sigh.
I cried on the way to the laundary and wailed like a person who'd just lost someone to death...I screamed at the top of my lungs as a release too. But it is there sitting on me like a ton of bricks. I wish you all well and feel bad that some of you are feeling bad too! sad
If things don't shape up in a week or so, back to the shrink I go.

I am feeling exactly the same way
I cry at a drop of a hat and for no reason
I had to get more IV in due to lotsa sores and in alot of pain BT I have had that for yrs so I know it is an underlying problem.....I have to figure it out .......some is to do with family ,moving and hardly seeing Cait .....but not all of it
I wish I could gives ya all a big group huggles and tell ya its all going to be okay

You are a precious person and I feel for you too! I know it has to hard dealing with so many different illnesses and other problems as well! But you always have a kind word and I appreciate and admire you for that! Consider yourself hugged right now and get better soon too! smile

I am feeling a bit better today and I'm hoping that you are too! It seems that no matter how down we get, we do eventually come back up for a bit! I hope you get a lift soon!
