Lexapro and nausea

I'm having trouble eating and my stomach feels upset all the time, I've been on lexapro for 9 days and have had nausea ever since I started the medicine, I'm coming off paxil and don't remember feeling nausea w/ it, has anyone had trouble w/ nausea, if so did it go again, I also have acid reflux.

It is important to keep in mind that medicines can affect each person differently. Some may experience no or very minor side effects, while others may find the drug more difficult to tolerate.
Lexapro side effects may include nausea, insomnia, somnolence, increased sweating, and fatigue.
If your symptoms continue or intensify please contact your physician. Only your Doctor can determine if it is safe to continue using Lexapro.
I am wondering if you stopped the Nexium? You mentioned the acid reflux.
I hope you get passed all this nausea soon.

I took one lexapro last autumn and puked my guts out for hours. Never took another, obviously.

I was very nauseous when starting Lexapro and it started to subside after about 8 days into it. My pharmacist said that the initial effects of Lexapro can last up to 14 days for some people. I went about 8 or 9 days feeling blah before I started to feel normal again. I probably would still let you doctor know though.
