She should not be gone then kinda tired of everyone wanting her there with them she is and so am I
She needs some down time and the " pig roast" she wont miss has never missed it yet
YOU betcha ya will be here or ........

Gave in and am back on a couple of benzo's fo a few days I have a little less pain with the pain meds and them as well but still not the best ....
Not good news from doc but will call you in a couple kk

When you leave your cell at the pizza place and dont panic and miss a final exam to get your phone...I kept my cool and hopefully did well on my exam...

When you go to make a deposit in an ATM and someone starts talking to you and you dont go instantly into a PA...

When you're freaked out about having to go downtown Minneapolis for a friend's birthday to a restaurant..and little did I realize once I got there that I was in a mall and I was suddenly calm and went....

SHOPPING

bwahahahaha

and went to the restaurant despite all the panic of driving there and just did breathing exercises and really did have a lot of fun!

Whats going on lol

NO one is able to post about BEATING this monster like it does us ...........

I moved an hour away packed and unpacked my house and my dads house and I have BARELY touched a valium nor Ativan and for me that is the best thing going
I have them ......I just dont need nor have to have them at this time .....today ...........and hopefully tomorrow.........as well .admittedily I cried when I left the town I have lived in for many many yrs BUT I was okay once I saw the sign for this place .........and I have been great since

New beginnings ........New places to go where I dont see Mom all the time and sadden up and tearful

Cait has made numerous friends all starting same HS as her so thats all good and I plan on going back to Home Care where I am able to pick own hours and work when I want .......I miss the personal relationships between patient and nurse........



I am just going to hope that some of you WILL post what you have or are doing to BEAT this Dang monster down............

Well I will take a shot at it.................no pun intended  :)

I have weaned from 40 mg of Valium down to 6 mg and will keep on going.

I call on friends when I know I am going to be in a anxiety triggering situation like yesterday, first job interview in 26 years.  I ask the friends to send me good vibes and just think of me.  I did fine on the interview.  Just went and did it.

I plan to get up earlier when I know I have to go or be somewhere that is stressful so I don't kick into panic mode getting ready.  I take my time getting ready.

I come to this site and one other every day unless I am at the South Pole.

I have one more.....When you can go on a date with your husband and sit in a restaurant and actually eat without eyeing the door!

.......REMEMBER when driving to take all info with you lol

 

My infinte wisdom left me yesterday and I took to the roads to the doc about an hour away with a 10 day sticker on car ( valid) and forgot all my needed paperwork not thinking I would be pulled over

 

So I was sitting talking with son and DIL and just had this "FEELING" said it out loud .****

Never doing that again and I left I got 15 minutes from them and I saw the Officer at side of road and lo and behold he was now up my backside lights flashing ......Not a valium nor an ativan with me ...NOT GOOD AT ALL ........ nono

 

The pouding in my heart and in my head was sooo loud I swear ........at least he was decent most would have made me have car towed and I would have had to have someone (proven) licensed driver come get me pay a fortune to get car outa hock and go to court.......

 

This sweetie officer told me to drive safe and REMEMBER to carry documentation.......NO CHIT you betcha .....took me about 15 min to get legs to get outta car but i DID IT WITH no Valium no ativan and I SURVIVED........ tongue

FOR me this is a good thing lol ...normally I would have been flipped out and popping a down to some kind of mellow range lol BUT I DIDNT

 

Lesson learned .........Dont leave home w/o your documents ....get the cutest cops lol and REMEMBER ATIVAN........LOL..Just in case

When I was okay and kept my cool even though almost losing Caits pet fish ( expensive) down the sink

I think I will leave that cleaning up to her to do lol

No like the smell or the fear of losing it on her

When we stopped at Alice's Pies on the way home from up north to pick up a pie for Father in law and the waitress forgot about us,  I was feeling panicky and wanting to get back on the road.

I cured myself, I told the waitress she did not give good customer service.  Hee Hee...........well 20 minutes to wait to buy a pie.

I RODE a bike today all around the City ............Dang it felt good yeah

Got the job for sure and start next Tuesday at Para Med .......doing pm's so I can deal with Crohn's mornings lol........

Terrific Big Sis,

I had a call from the second interview I went on when looking for the job and they offered me 3 different positions, I told them I had already been scooped up but it felt good to get the offer.

I am on my own at work tonight as a Fitness Instructor..........who would have thought?

So we will both be on PMs but my hours very.  I am working today as a pick up and during the day on Sunday to help them out.

We are example of what taking babysteps can do.........yehaaaaaaaaa.

Yes we are for sure and no shame in baby steps is there......still gets ya where ya want to go ........might take longer but stillllll...

 

 

I finally blew at DIL yesterday .....had enough and now am waiting to see if my son has the nerve to call me ...she said I was unfit and mental ......lol........OKAY.............. tongue

 

I coulda been in trouble though lol will explain on MSN tomorrow

 

I have had 3  of Cait's friends here down the basement where puters are lol so I have to wait till they get up and yesterday went to Bothwell ........so I will be on in the early am tomorrow k

How is your job going

Today was the first day for me only a few hours but I loved it sooooo much .........

Baby steps are the key for sure IMHO..........

I am having some added stress though with brother staying here ( younger) as it messes up my OCD routine lol and he sleeps in Rec Room so all my puters are down there and I dont want to wake him but I have to be on in am's as I am doing the pm's for work .......

Got to do what ya got ta do right....I gave him holy heck as he left a beer bottle in the basement nono  not good for me to find ya know that .....


lol gave me an extension on fines or it is do not pass go ........I will explain
I am going to be on in the morning for sure.......

When you have lost 10 pds from not being able to eat and have had fever so high have had a couple of small seizures..............

BUT am getting thru it with my closest friends sisters and this forum ............

devil   When you get called from the High School (yesterday) saying Cait has had 2 major panic atacks and was only wanting me or her B/F Jesse there to help her thru them .........

He was told by principal I thought he would be able to calm her down and HE DID

 

HE left for a few seconds and went to come back in and the secretary started bleeping him out saying he had no business nor permission to be in the guidance office with her'

This really got him and Cait going more..........END result he was suspended for the day today

 

HIs mom Nancy and I along with the 2 of them were at the school at 7:40 am to speak directly to the principal and the Guidance officer ( prior to going I printed out what anxiety and panic can and will do to you from our own HW resources and TOOK both pages in ......UNDERLINED.........I was so miffed it was not a pretty sight but NO panic and NO

anxiety at all

 

The principal talked to cait and I for a few minutes and he did go over the notes somewhat BUT did put her name on them and now in file............

Cait is not one for missing school as MOST of you know

TODAY when the principal did say well I think wwe are done here now and I do believe you CAIT so you may as well head to classes............

 Cait stood up and very politely and calmly said NO sir I will be taking today as a " VOLUNTARY suspension".........Jesse was there for me and he is being punished and I will be at his side as well thru this all

I have been so proud of Cait and her choices in the past as you all know BUT this blew me away,,,,,,,,I could and would not suggesst it to her to do this .....it was something she had to decide totally on and I bleeding know I was soooooooooooooooo

Proud of her and I blatantly told her this RIGHT there in front of the Principal and Guidance Teacher( he smiled lol) Guidance councillor will be using some of stuff on HW for helping out the teens that could become so lost

 

Her resonse was MOM you have taught me right from wrong and yesterday was ALL wrong they were telling me to stop shaking calm down and " IT WILL BE ALRIGHT".......it would not have been if Jesse was not there and WE all know it would not have just " been alright"

 

** THe other side to this coin is Jesse's mom has her 14 yr old son in Cognitive behavioural Therapy for a while now and she knew that her other son stood his ground being a MAN to help out my CAIT and YES she too is a proud Momma .........she plans on joining HW to get some ideas for her son.........

 

I DID all this with notta Valium nor ativan and still sick as a dog but as least he knows know the "PANIC" attacks are for real yeah

 

ONE MORE PERSON>>>>>>an Educator has been educated today

 

Sorry so long I just had to SHARE my pride and the fact I did it all with no benzo's
