I know I have somewhat talked about
this before, but I am pretty sure I just touched the topic a bit. This issue is something that is huge, and I am going to base one post only on it. MORNING ANXIETY...
When I wake up in the morning, before I even have a chance to really open my eyes, I am anxious. It isn't like I am thinking about the day and I start to freak out, and I have checked my blood sugar, it isn't that either. Some of you may remember when I had a problem with waking up at 5 or 6 in the morning needing to take Xanax. It isn't like that anymore. I get up around 7:30 to get my son ready for school. Right when waking up, I just feeling yucky, like anxious, and I feel like that until I really start to motivate. If I don't motivate, I am anxious. If I get up and clean the house and stuff, it tends to wear off. So, like having a lazy Sunday is out of the question for me. It's like I simply cannot rest.
The things I am feeling upon waking up are generally...
chest pressure
sore muscles
often times a full blown panic attack
nervous
jittery
overall, anxious
It generally goes away withing an hour or two of being up, and if it doesn't, I will go to Xanax, and then everything is fine.
Any thoughts on what this could be, and how to get rid of it? I am doing pretty good during the day now, it's just the mornings. I dread waking up!
THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE!
