Hey all.  Just wanted to check in, cuz it has been a while since I have posted. I want you all to know that I am doing better.  I am truly starting to feel more like ME.  I think the 20 mg of Lexapro is doing it for me.  I rarely ever use the Xanax.  Sometimes I take it if I know I am going to be away from home for an extended period of time...as a precaution I guess.  I leave the house daily, often times going shopping and things...all without Xanax, and all very comfortably!!!  I feel my life coming back together, and it's an amazing feeling. I did have a panic attack at the dentist on Friday.  He had to do some work, and after, I wouldn't stop bleeding.  It took like a half hour for the horrible bleeding to stop.  Of course, that made me nervous, put me in panic mode, and that didn't help the bleeding, as I am sure my blood pressure was through the roof.  I made it out OK though, and that was my final dentist appointment.  MIND YOU...I took MYSELF to the dentist...ALONE!!!  That made me so proud! I owe a lot of my "recovery" to you guys...walking me through all the hard times I have had.  You are all amazing, and I love you all so much!!! I still have an appointment with my new PDOC on NOvember 1st.  I will let you all know how that goes!! (((((HUGS TO ALL)))))

Hey Tammy

Proud of you for going to the dentist and if I had a bleeding issues at the dentist I would panic too........that would cause most anyone to panic.

So great job on getting out and around.  Be very proud of yourself. You have come a long way.

Many congrats on your new moderator status and you will be very successful in the GERD forum.  You are warm, caring and spontaneous and the members in the forum will only benefit from you being with them.

I'm so glad that you are feeling better and getting out so much!  Good for you!  You so deserve some peace, you've sure been through the wringer the last few months.  Keep getting out and moving in the right direction...I'm rooting for you!

WOW - that is such great news.  I am so happy to hear that you are doing so well, going out and about and going to the dentist on your own.  Even though you had a "spot" of trouble there, you still did great.
