Yes,

i made it to the beach today for the first time in 12 months.

And it was awsome, even thought it was as windy as anything,

but i made it across the main highway, even waited for the lights  and the cars didnt really bother me.

Wow the smell of the ocean was intense, its amazing, right now im as happy as a pig in a mud pit.

i even stood there for around 5 mins just smelling the ocean. And i had done my walk around the block before going to the beach as well, so a big new step for me... :-)

I would have loved to have been on the beach ,....sand in the toes like Kitt said .....making sand castles .....with Motes of course ....lol

The sand in my toes was the most amazing feeling, just awsome.

Let's make a monthly trip to the beach and who ever can make it, get to a beach. liquid has set the standard here.

Remember his beach may be your local park, or even just into your own backyard.

  Wow, Liquid!!!  That's absolutely awesome!!!!!!   What an accomplishment for you and you should be extremely proud of yourself for this.  This is certainly something you should be cheering about .   I'm proud of you!!  Keep up the good work and keep letting us know what your next step is.   I also agree with Kitt about the once a month journey.   Wen

And a once a month trip would be awsome for everybody, even into the back yard would be fantastic.

As for me my next step is to walk along the shore and feel the water again, i was going to go today but we had a bad storm AGAIN sad   so i couldnt go but tommorow is a new day..

Absolutely Kitt,

theres enough sea shells for everyone in minnesota..lol.. I'm just waiting on a new weather report, as we had another 2 storms last night. and more are expected today but not sure when, so you may need your brolly Kitt. (not sure if you use the word brolly in USA but its slang for umbrella here in AUS). But i'm sure the water will still be nice and warm (normally around 19-22 celcius). If i'm not there when you get there i won't be far away.. :-)

  Good job liquid, I think I may just take the horses out for a ride on the beach as it sounds like fun just wish it was a little bit warmer here in Alaska but that ok just have to bundle up as we don't have the ice brugs yet and I have all the time I need on my hands now as there is nothing more fun then then in joying the beach.

You know, I just realized that I never made to ANY beach this summer.  I go every year at least to the local lake and try to get to the ocean at least once a summer.  But it didn't happen this year.  Bummer     I miss the feeling the sad between my toes and dunking my kids in the water.   Hopefully, next year.   Wen

Aw Wen,

Come to Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, we have lots of water as well as northshore on Lake Superior.  You can soak up lots of beautiful fall color in the southern part of the state right now.

Actually i want to do a tour of USA and Europe, ive seen lots of programes showing some amazing places to see in the US, And being a chef i would love to tour France the home of cuisine..

You could also come to Ontario ...we have some fantastic restaurants and well known Chefs here .........

Come cook for me anytime especially when Lil sis ( kitt) comes to visit ..we need to be pampered yeah

I am so pleased with all the progress and input in this thread..........
