DO I QUALIFY FOR A CHECK?

HAS

anyone gotten or getting a disability check for their mental illness because the cant hold down a job? PLease give me some feed back on this!!!!

I know there is somebody who is or has gotten a disability check!! If so let me know as it is hard for me to hold down a job with P/A!! Let me know all the details!!! Thank you guys!!!! LOVE YOU All!!!!

Good Morning,
I know we have had others apply and I do know it is a long process with lots of forms. Your best bet may be to look at the site: http://www.ssa.gov/
They have a lot of info on the site.

I hope someone else with more info for you will come along soon.

Thanks kitt!! Yeah i know it is along process my aunt gets it for something else, i looked into today!!!! So we'll see.Do you know of anyone that was actually approved due to mental health problems???

Hi there
I am in Ontario Canada and here we do have so many ppl that have been granted disability for a mental illness .........

I am sure that there has to be a protocol for the Disability and Mental Illness where you are as well

I am keeping you in my thoughts and I do hope you are able to get the disabilty papers
here it has much to do with what your doctor puts down on paperwork and also what you put down as what your problems are on a daily basis ....not sure if it is the same where you are

Thanks howlync that eases my mind a little! Man ontario canada! I bet that would be a great place to visit!!! Is that where you were born and raised!!! I bet you probably havent even heard of the place im from,Chattanooga,TN!!! A very small town everyone knows each other!! Maybe i can come to see you in canada one day(lo) I bet its very different from Tennessee!!!

Yes I have heard of your place for sure...
Yes this is a beautiful Country ............Cold in the winters but still beautiful and we are all very friendly here ...........Come visit anytime .......Kitt is coming this year I have had another girl my adopted daughter here twice now and it was great.

You will see me type alot of EH in my posts thats a Canada thing k .......

OMG, Pani-ke, I am near Nashville!!!!

Lyn, I grew up near Buffalo, NY and used to make weekend trips to the St. Catherines area of Canada near Niagra Falls, so I can actually hear the EH when you type it!!! Oohh, and oot (out) and aboot (about)!!!

Panike my daughters boyfriend receives disability from mental illness...he was overdosed as a young child on anti-seizure medication because the pharmacist filled it wrong (instead of 0.25 mg it was filled for 25 mg) and he was hospitalized for quite a long time and almost died. He said he was put on the "fast track" for disability, which I guess means they bypassed all of the usual denials and court stuff.
