I have written before about my difficulties at work and that I plainly hate my job in the OR.  I had an interview Tuesday at a fertility clinic and I felt like I wanted to move in!  I would so love this position.  It truly seems perfect.  I am afraid if I do not get the job that I will be very depressed and feel like it was a tease.

Any advice?

Thanks - but I want the job so bad I can taste it!  It's so hard being patient and it will be VERY hard if I don't get it :(

I so agree with Baby...........GREAT input
IF it is meant to be you will get it IMHO and there just may be a better job down the line

Focus on Perhaps getting that job hun do not set yourself up in case you fall as you have stated you know you will fall hard......

I agree with baby too neelie,I beleive anything that was meant for us to have we will receive it.I hope you get it too because you want it so bad,i honestly think it may be a little bit more relaxed than the OR position! But dont let it get you down if you dont get it just look elsewhere,I am convinced you will find your spot!! GOOD LUCK ON GETTING THE JOB!! I will keep you in my thoughts!

Thank you so much -everyone.  This website has been so helpful.  It helps so much hearing from so many people with really great thoughts and suggestions.  Life can be really hard at times and I feel the people that are involved with this site truly know how it feels when things get hard and everyone is there for everyone else. 

I have not heard about a 2nd interview yet - not sure if I should sit back or call and ask if they are scheduling them yet.

Dear Neelie,
I would give it a bit of time.  From my experience not hearing can go either way.  So try to stay in the moment and stay  out of the anticipatory anxiety loop.
