Good Morning Everyone

Our wonderful Lyn is down in bed with pneumonia and will not be able to be on the boards until she is better.  I hope you will all join me in sending her warm wishes for a speedy recovery and prayers to help her through this most difficult of times in her life.


Lyn has been the rock that holds this as well as other forums together.  She has always found the sunshine in all of her pain and her losses.  Now we need to bundle the sunshine and send it to her.

 

She has been my mentor and my friend from the day I joined this forum and she has helped me see the light when everything seemed so dark to me.

 

I love you Big Sis,  keep on fighting.  I am sending you all my strength.

Lyn! Oh my dear Lyn! I'm praying for you sweetie! Eat soup, rest, and get better!

My mama has had pneumonia a few times and it was rough, and I've had bronchitis three times so that respitory stuff is NOT fun by any means!

Luvs you lots! See you when you get better!

Definetly will keep her in my prayers. You are right, she has always been there for us on all the many boards she responds on.

Rest Rest Rest! I had pneumonia myself this fall and you will get better, but don't push it! Take time to take time and let your body heal, it wants to :)

Yes I am feeling much better but still a bit tired out easily ......

Cait sure did keep me in line and in BED,,,,,,did everything she did...........makings of a great nurse....

A special thanks to you lil sis ..........you always do take care of things when I am down and out .........I knew ya would .......Never have I lost faith in you had it from DAY one as you know ......

I did say you would be good Mod material as I saw you jumping in and helping out Kitt and others here while I was away .......But I do think that you as a friend and as a support to so many is in the best interest of the members ......as another member as they see the Moderators sometimes as kinda " Watching over them " and watching their every move " so they sometimes just dont talk to us the way they would to you or open up to us as much IMHO

Your support and caring ways have helped so many and I would really love for that rapport to continue with all the members as I know they would too .......

I am sure you will understand what I am saying here ..........you are NEEDED to support and help ppl for sure ........I know I have seen you help so many since you have come here ......
You also need support and caring as well and we are here for you too
Right now we have 4 moderators for this forum and we do need ppl like yourself as members to reach out and help ,support and care for others
I am not saying that you cannot become a moderator sweetie ...I just honestly believe that you are doing the greatest job right now as you are .........ppl really have taken to you and your support is always so loving and caring.......
This is something you can keep in your mind for the future ........as will we if we need another mod here ya know .....

I am feeling lots better than I was but still tire easily ......Keep posting and being the caring supportive woman you are .......you are truly needed.....Love......Lyn/sis

Hey there Lyn, good to see you posting today.  It makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

Baby T., I so agree with Lyn, you are truly an asset to the HealingWell Family, not only on this forum but on the others you belong to. You have a way of supporting others and you rely on your own background to help others.

I know  the members look up to you as a friend, and a support person, always there to talk with them.  Lyn is right about Mods, we do have to monitor posts for abuse, unauthorized spam or advertisements and any sort of harrassment so we keep busy reading all the posts looking for the questionable posts.  Sometimes we just don't have the time to give to the members posts as much as we would like.  If I read your post and it is right on the money, I will move on and cover the whole site.

I have taken a vow to keep the site safe for the members as has Lyn, AK and Wen.

I believe you do have qualities that someday may point you in the direction of becoming a moderator but I would like to see you allow yourself to take care of you right now and draw strength and support from the members to help you with your own issues. You are important to so many.

HIYA Lyn how are you? I'm still feeling crappy but couldnt stay away from my friends! I hope you are feeling much better! I see you have been up and out of bed, don't rush yourself though sweety! I have been thinking of you and i wish you the best! Is BabyT thinking about being a Mod?I think she would be great as someone above said everyone here loves her and she has been such an inspiration for many including myself,that would be a big step for her! I am sorry you are still feeling so yucky ....I am getting better daily and like you it is hard to stay away from this place and your friends..........I am doing a few posts here and there while I get better totally
I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery too ........
Actually Baby is not thinking of doing this now as she has issues as you know and as she has pointed out in post to deal with herself and she is very much needed as a member and the great support she is to so many ......
I am sure she will think of it in the future .Yes she truly is an inspiration to so many here..........

Yeah,I do see what your'e saying Baby.It's hard to deal with your own problems much less other people's.I was just saying that because i think you are such a caring compassionate person.I think you should find some way to spread all that love and compassion that you have in your heart.Maybe not being a Mod but something! But like you said take care of you first before you start trying to save the world,that use to be my problem.I put everyone before me until all of a sudden i found myself lonely and depressed.I had been helping so many other people i forgot about myself! So now i've been trying to look after myself a little more! Like with me being sick,I would usually still try to cook for my husband,iron his work uniforms and whatever else while i'm sick.But this time around i havent been doing that and i told him i wasnt.And i really didn't care if he got mad or what! Which he didn't,he's been waiting on me hand and foot.I think i'm going to continue to be sick for about 1 more week! lol!

Am off to the Doc's to get the "All Clear" ....I hope ..........still rattling in the chest so I dont know ......I can fake I am better eh lol..well hades no that wont work with my doc ........knows me too well

I know you are always with me and at my back same as I am for you
WE have always had a special bond and always will .........
I have gone thru and over many a hurdle with you at my side sis and know that I will be there for you always too
