Can anyone help

I need to talk with someone about severe panic attacks and I don't know how to chat on here will anyone please reply to help me.

Hi Pywackey,   First of all, Welcome to Healing Well.  This is a great community for support and help with whatever issues you may have.  Not only do we have very supportive members here, but there are also some resources listed to the right in the yellow box.  Just click on the anxiety resource link.  Also make sure to check out some posts to see if there is anything there that may be of help to you.   Secondly, for the chat - above this area are some links in white writing (Home, Calendar, Chat, etc).  Click on the Chat link and it will take you to the chat rooms.  You will have to sign in with your regular user name.  Hopefully someone from A/P will be there to talk to you.   You can also email and/or IM any of the forum moderators (myself included, I use Yahoo) to chat; just click on the icons below our names to get the needed info.  We will be more than happy to help you.  Please keep posting so that we can get to know you better; I look forward to it.  Again, welcome to Healing Well.   Take care, Wen

I have a little girl with panic attack/anxiety disorder. My ex-wife (her Mom) has this also and I had dealt with it for years through her. Once my ex finally got medical help she started to become better and was able to deal with her life. She has been a great resource for my little girl. I just hope the medication my daughter is on is only temporary to take the edge off while she learns coping skills. We'll see how it goes. Keep me posted how you are doing. She would probably love to write you if you didn't mind. She feels a bit like an outcast right now. Chris

I am Kitt and I am so  glad you have joined our family. It looks like Wen told you how to get into the chat room which is great and Chris has a daughter, perhaps you may be on the same IM.  Just a thought but people who like to chat just use our chat rooms here.

Some of us have had anxiety and panic since we were teens so we do understand where your coming from and what your going through.
