I'm getting a little chance to practice fighting my health anxiety. After a few larger-than-usual meals this weekend, my throat and breathing have felt just a teensy bit like those old suffocating symptoms. So I keep trying to tell myself that it can't really hurt me, because we know what it is now. Still, when the sensations don't go away, my anxiety wants to ramp up a few notches. I've been using deep breathing. Even though that doesn't make my throat feel different, it does relax my mind a bit.
