Small steps in your fight against anxiety and panic

Kitt,   I am very proud of you for leaning on the Healing Well family.  You know we are here to help you, just as you help everyone else.  Stop trying to be the tough one because it can only make things worse for you.  Lean on us all you need to - we are hear to lend an ear, a shoulder to cry on, whatever you need from us.  We love you and care about you and want to help you.  So please take your own advice and tell us what's going on with you; it's the only way we can help you.   Tons of Luv, Wen

Had Cait at hers yesterday and he is great he has her weaning off the xanax and doing some self help techinques that I am sure will be better for her,She despises having to take pills of any kind even antibiotics

Kitt,   You are a strong person, but no matter how strong we are we all need help from time to time.  You need to remember that and there is no shame in it all - this is something that I have also learned over the last few months.  I have ALWAYS been the strong one who takes care of everything and everyone.  Well, now I have to take care of me and it's an odd feeling for me as I'm not used to doing that.  YOU have to do the same thing and no matter what you feel about it, you have to take care of YOU now.  As I told you before, we are here to help you in any way you need us.  All you have to do is let us know and we will help you through it.   I'm proud of you for making an appointment with Pdoc as it sounds as though you need to do this.  Remember, if you need to do this and take meds - it's okay.  We love you and want you to be well.   Tons of Love to You, Wen

I'm very proud of you; that's a very big step for you to have taken. I know that stores are especially tough for you, with or without meds. Give yourself a big hug of comfort and praise.

I forgot my little success recently: I took my 6-year-old nephew on a road trip this weekend, and sometimes driving brings on my shortness of breath. I didn;t have any real problems, but a few times it flitted through my head that I could have an anixety attack with him in the car and then what would we do about a hospital? But I immediately talked myself back into the reality that my heantlh anxiety issues come from reflux, which is now under control, and we had a great weekend (well, except for the food poisoning...).

HW has been a daily thing up to the last couple of months for me and then I miss it ya know BUT there comes a time ya have to get out and live too
We are not getting any younger lol
'AT least I am not and certainly not healthier by staying in all the time
I use to be on here at 4 am till way past noon and then again at night I cannot do it now my DD dont allow me too...HENCE all the number of posts ..look at your 2

Lyn I've discovered those cards dry quicker if you put them in the pizza oven they just get a bit cheesy! I am a bit proud that I saw a new doc yesterday, took no guff and got my ativan with only one small lecture on addiction.
