Getting silly anxiety

Last nite i cudn't sleep because i misplaced my mobile phone. I knew the second some1 rang i wud hear it and thus be able to find it so i also knew i wasn't missing out on any important calls. Yet i still kept waking up every so often thinking wher the hell is it and then hav trouble getting back to sleep. Ive spent most of today laughing at myself tongue

In the end som1 did ring and sure enough i found it straight away

Jus wondered if any1 else out ther had examples of getting anxiety over completely silly things

Many of the things I worry about are silly, where did I put something and it doesn't ring so I finally settle down and then it dawns on me, I left it sitting downstairs.

I have learned to understand if I drove home and used my keys to get into the house, they are here............. lol, not laying on a floor at a discount store :-)

I feel ya badfish,
I too worry about pretty silly things. Like a book that I have borrowed from a friend, I'll be laying in bed and all the sudden I just get crazy anxiety about "what if I lost it?" "what if I accidently threw it away? "what if I took it to the library with my other library books?" You know, all the what if's. And it wouldn't be the end of the world but I still get very upset about it. I usually end up getting out of bed and searching for it. yeah, your not alone.
