Today I am grateful (join in okay) oh come on!  Part 2................

 

This is Part 2 so jump right in.

 

I am grateful for the nice holiday I had yesterday, no tears, no fears, just my usual routine but that is good.

 

I am grateful for everyone that had the chance to watch fireworks or spend time with friends and family.

 

I am grateful in is Saturday.  devil devil devil

Today I am so grateful that Cait has dumped Jesse
This b/f controlled her and made her "Mother" him more than anything
'He has NO ambition and no want to find and keep work

Cait told him she will not support any man ........

I am grateful my son called from Alberta last nigth
he got an Apprenticeship with a company starts Monday
I am thinking he is wanting to save up the monies for him to have the kids
This makes me think happy thoughts as the DIL is a pill addict
And has no worries about the kids ya know

I am grateful Megs called last night but I missed the call
Mine on phone bill wasnt bad at all sis only 18 bucks so thats really good EH

I know you are in a bad place
PLZ try to let u know what we can do okay

Grateful I spoke with Lil sis on mess today

I know I am so grateful for being ALIVE
NO matter how many illnesses and how many times this bleeding anxiety tries to knock me down
I have learnt to FIGHT .......... and fighting Mad I get...........

Fihgt with all I have
Use my HW Family as my support and sounding boardI have for a few years now
They DO understand me ............dont know how lol........... but they do

I do use Techniques along with meds so I am grateful for the techniques posted in Resources above in yelllow ..Wen's name at end of it
I am also grateful I finally did give another chance to an Antidepressant

I am so grateful I have been blessed with a daughter that is exceptionally empathetic to all ppl regardless of age.....race or ethnic background..........

I am extremely grateful I did have the last 10 plus yrs with Mom and then another 2 yrs after she passed with Dad to make so many wonderful and majical memories that will be in my heart FOREVER

Well I can say once again that I am grateful for such a wonderful husband. My grown daughters have once again let me down this holiday weekend, but he is always right there for me to count on. His strong shoulders are there for me to cry on, his strong arms there to hold me thru my sadness, his love to help me carry on. I am grateful that I have Healingwell to help me learn to live with my anxiety and Crohns. And am also grateful for the friends I have on this board.

Although we all live with different crutches, we always have eachother to lean on. I am so grateful that I found these support forums, I know I'd be lost without them. Good post Lyn! Give that special daughter of yours a big hug for us. You are lucky you have such a supportive daughter who loves her mom so much.

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium. Resections in 2002 and 2005. Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.

Today I am grateful for:

1.  A pleasant and happy time spent with some of my family on the 4th of July.

2.  All the HW moderators and everyone here who are the nicest group of online friends anyone could ask for.

3.  That I am finally getting to do some stuff on my own and cleaning my apartment and doing laundry for myself.

4.  Grateful that my "feeties" are getting a bit better every day and I can get out and do some stuff for myself again after 6 weeks of having others do for me.  I'm a very independent person and asking for help is not something I like to do.

5.  That my xanax is keeping me at an even keel finally and I'm not as "down" as I have been.

This is Kitt and I am so grateful that Lyn found the right thread tongue

I am grateful that Nanners has a good man to lean on, I suspect Nanners you experience a lot of what I do with my grown children, they have their own lives and they carry on merrily while we miss them and sit alone wondering what happened.

I am grateful for Megs who always says just the right thing to our wonderful members as she has such a tender heart and cares dearly for all.

I am very grateful for my sense of humor although sometimes I am the only one laughing at myself.

I am grateful to see our new member Lobo posting here, welcome.

I am grateful for my friend, Huggles................and so happy she has healed well.

I am grateful my own wounds are healing.  My foot does not look like a gopher tried to chew off my toe anymore, it is filling in nicely.

Most of all I am grateful for my wonderful Hubby.  My Rock.

I am truly grateful I have learned thru the hard way ....

I CAN beat this and all the other DD that come my way or at least give them the best figth I can ..........

I am also really grateful I found right thread ...DUH........

Today I am grateful that I stil have my youth. I went and sang at a nursing home and those poor folks are just pitiful. My heart really goes out to them.

Thirsty that must have been a wonderful experience for you. I have such a heart for the elderly, always have since I was a little girl. Maybe thats something I should do myself. So many of those poor folks are dumped in homes by their families and just sit alone there. Actually worried that my own kids will do that to me when I get old. Just as long as the put my sweet man in there with me, I don't care as long as he and I are together.

Hey Kitt, I just told my husband this weekend that since I can never count on my kids, I want a dog. I think I might go to the pound and find one thats already potty trained and looking for a good home. I think that would be great therapy for me.

Lyn, as long as you have that sweet girl Cait of yours, I think you will be fine. She sounds like a real sweetheart.

That is an awesome idea.  I take an afternoon nap with mine everyday........she gets up on my bed and barks at me until I get in there.  She is the boss.

Thirsty,

Singing at a Nursing home is great but I would scare the poor darlings. My daughter used to do Pet Therapy for the home and she would go once a  week and take one of her dogs and her two girls when they were little.  The residents loved it.

I know how grateful the residents are for any diversion.

Thirsty, I love going to visit nursing homes, but they would chuck me out if I tried to sing. I hope you have fun.

Nanners, get that dog! Pets are so wonderful, and calming, and, well, really cute. My kitties get me through some tough days.

I am grateful that Lyn still has her sense of humour, let us know how things go tx wise (if you like)....

who needs husbands anyway?? They eat all the ice-cream and then put it back in the freezer...and then bollock off for three years!!

No, I'm not allowed to go barefoot but I did anyway and it felt good that day.  I paid for it that night.  My footies are anything but happy this afternoon (I'm icing and elevating as I type).  I was on them way too much today.

But, I'm grateful I still have a job and grateful that my PC is working again so I can be here and grateful for my airconditioning (it's 91 here with heat index of over 100).  And is it okay if I say I am grateful that I got a refill on my pain med (I really am grateful for it).

I don't know what I would do without all of you.  I'm grateful for EACH AND EVERY PERSON HERE.

I am grateful you are with us as you put a smile on my face with your sweet words and yes I am happy you go a refill on your pain meds as foot surgery hurts like the hades.

I have talked to both, Lyn hopes to be on a bit today, and I am grateful for that.

Wen is dealing with issues and I do not know when she will post.

I am grateful today for the feeling of relief I have knowing my hubby is going to be OK.

I'm grateful for the adorable new nickname of Huggles.  Makes me smile just seeing the word.  Thank you Kitt.

I'm grateful that Kitt is healing and her hubby is going to be okay.

I'm grateful that Lyn is on the mend.

I'm grateful nervymeg is such a close and thoughtful and kind person.  And, meg, please send some of the cool weather our way.  You have such a great sense of humor too.  I'm chillin' my toes and elevating.  I've just tried doing too much to soon.

I hope and pray that Wen will soon be back with us.

I'm thankful to have this forum to come to and a thread to make us each try to think of one positive thing each day that we are grateful for.

I'm grateful I felt up to going to see the new movie WALL-E this afternoon with my niece and nephew.  It was one of the cutest movies I've seen.  It made me laugh and smile and applaude.

Dianne..Cold weather on the way....brrr...you keep those feet out of trouble now you hear?!

I'm so grateful that my kitten is asleep on my lap purring...she is keeping me all toasty.
