Meg... I used to jog 3 miles every day and do weights on odd days.... That was in the old days before the crohns and the MS etc. etc... I am so proud of you.... nothing like those endorphins kicking in to make you feel better. Keep it up dear Meg.

Karen.... my passion is art also.... don't give up hon! I used to be very self-concscious about showing my art to anyone... until my neighbor took me to the Victoria Moss street paint in... it is 10 blocks in Victoria, blocked off down to the sea... of artists and their art work. That is when I discovered that there is a market for everyone. Art is sooo subjective. You just paint what your little heart tells you to.. and sure enough , someone may like it, others may hate it... but someone else might just love, love , love it. ! and most importantly, is that if art , painting makes you dig deep down past all the anxiety and "things " of this life, then it is worth it.... it is your expression of this moment and that's all that matters. I knew a lady that painted nothing but squares.... and she was so proud of them .... they brought her joy and that's all that mattered. !

Lyn, I can just picture you on that harley. My sister's passion is her motorcycle too. She and her husband meet up with other cyclists and they have a wonderful time.

It was really wonderful and inspiring reading about your passions.

I love my husband and two rabbits. They make me laugh and keep me sane and active. My non-dependent passions are books (I'm a libarary member now that my book shelves are all full) and reading about (mental) health. I hope to build some new passions, maybe writing on this forum will be.

Art is SO personal. It's a great way to let out emotion and express yourself. As long as you love what you create, then it is beautiful in my mind.

My passion is in helping others.  I want to find a way to become involved in working with the cancer patients at one of the homes like the Ronald McDonald House. My sister is going today to stay at Hope Lodge, a newly opened facility for patients and their care giver. It is free for her and her daughter and she is going to be there for about 9 weeks is the word for now.

I would love to  volunteer at a wonderful place such as Hope Lodge.

Hope Lodge sounds like a wonderful facility. It must ease your mind to know that your sister and niece can stay there while she is getting her treatment. I'm praying that it goes smoothly and successfully, and that you are able to release some of the anxiety you've had to carry lately and feel good yourself.

Kitt, that is such a wonderful and giving passion! I'm really proud of you and I'm sure that you'll be able to work with cancer patients in that home or another.

Meg, my rabbits are really sweet and great. They're brown, they live in a two-story rabbit house in our garden :-) and are free to run around whenever we're home and able to keep an eye on them every 5 mins or so. The garden is fully closed, so they can't run out, but they're exellent diggers, so we need to see if they're not moving elsewhere... Oh and they're wonderfully supportive and it really helps cuddling with them!

I've always wanted rabbits, they look cuddly and oh so cute! I'm glad you have some furry friends to spend time with. My two cats are my little support team!

My passions are My family and my sons motorcross career supporting him through each and every step.I also enjoy scrapbooking I escape into the pages of good memories, Unless my hands start sweating.

I understand your passion, gennie.  My oldest was on a Motocross Team in Oregon back a few years and his team took 3rd place in a competition.  Now he bikes...............mountain bikes. 

My daughter breeds and raises show dogs, yes she and the granddaughters both show the dogs all over U S and Canada now too.  Dobermans and Boston Terriers.

Hi Lynn,long time no hear! This is Panike! Everyone probably has forgotten me! Anyway what soothes my anxiety is being out mingling with people or shopping.Sometimes i like to go into shops and just browse even if i cant buy anything.Just being around the people help s me to focus on reality

Ha. Well I used to be.

For months it seemed like almost every time I played I'd get nine or ten right in 40 - 60 seconds. But there seems to be more oddball questions in there than there used to be...like the Olympics and collegiate football. That annoys me so I don't play much anymore.
