Hello everyone,
I had a panic attack yesterday and had to go to the urgent care.
Looking for a little support and new info. So glad to find this site!

And welcome to the best anxiety/panic forum out there. You will find alot of loving and supportive folks here living with the same problems as yourself. Maybe you can tell us a little more about whats going on with you, so that we can possibly help you move thru it. Welcome and we look forward to hearing more from you.

I replied to one of your posts but I still wanted to say heeeelllllllooooooo! I'm new here too but this site has been the first place where I have finally found others who understand and share what I am going through.

So many people have severe panic and anxiety disorders but unfortunately it doesnt seem like there is enough information out there; people don't know where to turn and if they don't know anything about panic attacks/GAD then they feel terrified and don't know whats wrong. I'm happy you found this site, it has been helping me immensely.

Red Lightning, was this your first panic attack? Like Nanners asked, let us know more about yourself. There are many things you can do for panic and anxiety attacks. I would suggest exploring this forum. Also, buy a book or two about panic attacks. Once you understand what is happening to your body, it will help. Go for walks, take hot baths, things that will relax you.
