rolleyes  Kitt, how is your sister and oldest son? I've been worrying about them (not obsessively) and wanted to know how they are.

Nanners, how is your mom and daughter? Any changes?

Also, someone had 5 teeth pulled and were really scared. How did that go?

Is it Ben that is skiing away from home? Ben, how are you doing? Did you stop drinking?

Hi Aries,

I'm the one who had 5 teeth pulled and yes I was terrified, but I did it.  I had my teeth pulled a week ago Friday, had to do it awake as the doc would not let me take any xanax and be put under, and I wouldn't make it to the appt. if I didn't take xanax.  Procedure went well, a little traumatic, but over quickly and now I'm just slowly recovering.  Feeling a bit better every day, but will be so glad when all is healed.  Thank you so much for remembering and asking about how it went, that's so nice!

Thanks for asking, yes still on my trip and enjoying myself but getting frustrated that my anxiety/depression is still causing me problems. Still having problems with drink whilst in social situations but working hard to deal with this.

Aries,

My sister has to have her major abdominal surgery and also a radical mastectomy at the same time...........She has had her preop physical done and now we are waiting for a date from the coordinator at the hospital who has to arrange the O.R. time and the 2 surgeon's schedules.  I hope it is soon.

My son, I just talked to him and it seems they are all living in the same house but no changes.  I try so hard to stay in the moment but I never realized how hard it would be to be a Mom to adult children  as you have to watch them make their own choices, right or wrong and you have no way to save them from their own mistakes.

JuneBug, that's quite an accomplishment! Remember it and be proud! It's not an easy thing to do...I'm glad it went well. I thought about you.

Ben, make sure you're doing things while away to help yourself. Are you doing relaxation techniques? You can do this! Keep positive thoughts and come on here when you need help.

Kitt, I hope your son is doing okay living in the same house as his soon-to-be exwife. That must be stressful but hopefully they keep their distance. I'll keep praying for him. Your sister is going through so much! It's amazing what we can go through when tested. The human spirit is really special. I guess we need to remember that we can handle a lot more than we think. Let us know the surgery date so we can pray and send positive thoughts. You must stay strong and find time for yourself.

Let us know how all of you are doing. I worry about you guys.
