Began the full workup AGAIN

Well, here I go again! I have set my mind to get every possible test I can get done to get to the bottom of this skipped heart beat feeling I just can't deal with. Today was my annual trip to the gynocologist. I asked for complete bloodwork. He asked what I wanted tested and I answered, everything possible you can mark in those boxes. He complied and sent me off for bloodwork and threw in a chest xray and mammogram to boot. Mammogram is next week. Hope to get blood results in a week or two. Next, I am scheduling an appt with my cardiologist and am going to push for more than the holtar monitor and stress test without the ultrasound, his usual technique with me. I have had all cardiac tests performed, but that was 6 years ago. At that time, I didn't even have the skipped beat feeling. I feel too often that doctors brush you off when they see you have a history of anxiety disorder. My gyno did not blow me off and I will not let my cardio either. I will also be scheduling eye doctor and dentist appts. I had a work up with my ENT 6 months ago. I know my body. I know anxiety. If my journey leads to an A-OK diagnosis, I will believe them and move on. But until we have left no stone unturned I will continue to pursue. Believe me, I do not need a "problem/diagnosis" to justify my being. I would much prefer and pray that I do not have one. My true hope in all of this is just gaining some peace of mind and moving on with my life.

I have made personal mistakes and have had life events out of my control that have led me to this point. I drink, smoke, don't get enough exercise, work a stressful job, have experienced the death of a child and near death of another, etc. These things can only be corrected by myself and I am improving in all areas and will continue to do so. It is my mission LOL! Self improvement may also be the hardest part:)

Not really sure if I am posting this to myself to keep me going with my quest, posting for others that may have similar concerns, or just looking for support to keep my mind clear during the weeks to come. Regardless of the reason. Glad I have a place to go.

I'm glad you have a place to come with like minded people. It has been so great for me as well :) I know know how hard it is to have tests and stuff run like many others on here. . . We are scared of our symptoms, but also afraid to see all the docs and machines for a length of time. I wish you well and pray that you will make it through everything with flying colors and some peace of mind.
