"A commuter plane "basically dove" into a house while coming in for a landing outside Buffalo, New York, sparking a fiery explosion and killing all 49 people on board and one person on the ground."

My sympathy and prayers for all who are touched by this tragic crash.  I hope that none of the members on HW had any family, friends involved in this latest crash.

I live about 25 miles away from where the crash was. I can't believe that this happened. It's so tragic. They haven't released any passanger names yet, but I don't think I knew anyone. The news is saying that most of the people were commuters from Buffalo.

Very sad situation. My prayers go out to all who lost a loved one in this tradegy. I heard that one of the ladies killed had also lost a husband in 9/11. So so sad!

Yes, she was actually travelling to Buffalo for a ceremony to honor her husband.

I think I read a story about that... it is very sad... :(...

But at the same time, it is... so bizarre... I mean... You don't really expect that sort of thing to happen.... It's like something out of that movie Donnie Darko....

This is tragic and my prayers go out to these victims and their families. . .  Here is an article on the lady Beverly Eckert that lost a husband on 9-11 and then her life in this horrible incident. . .

This is a very tragic ordeal. So many bad things happening in this world and it's a shame. I hope that the families of the people who perished can make it through this and my thoughts go out to them.
