Good Morning My Wonderful Family............

Happy Tuesday to all.  I am off to work here in a bit ........ smhair   but wanted to make sure you had food for thought today.


Anything can cause a short fuse - frustration over a long commute, lack of sleep or problems at work -

Are you Easily Irritated by Friends, Family and Coworkers?

Sadly I have to answer yes to this one. I have little patience for those who do not use common sense. I guess that is a pet peeve. Its also something I am working on daily to overcome. I don't like my own lack of patience at times. Good question!

Yes I do get easily irritated by friends and family maybe because im anxious all the time.

Not usually, I just get my feelings hurt easy.  I turn my pain inwards and not out. . . Trying to learn a balance, and am slowly getting better :)

Yup I tend to get pretty snippy with people, especially if I'm feeling anxious my temper tends to flare up. It usually relates to my husband being like "There's nothing wrong with you" and "Are you unhappy with your life?" sort of statements, those just flip my switch.

Back when I was on prednisone, and I was suffering from tummy pain and joint pain (which would sometimes hit me very hard.... which would either cause me to wake up at 3 or 4 am in the morning... or prevent me from going to sleep at all....)... I was VERY irritable. I dropped a wire whisk on the floor, and I felt like screaming in frustration. If a person was just a few feet away from me, I would feel extremely irritated by them (as if they were breathing down my neck or something, but they weren't)...

The only other time I've been extremely irritated has been with my sister (my EXACT opposite)... but she could probably try the patience of the Dalai Lama, so you can't blame me for that. It's funny that we're closer now that we're far apart. *LOL* Weird.

Otherwise... I am a very patient, tolerant person. I don't get irritated by much. I get frustrated every now and then, but that's only at myself. I have a tendency to put blame on myself first before I put blame on others... which isn't that good of a thing to do.

Even when I have every right to be angry or irritated at someone, I doubt myself and need reassurance...

I get so irate or ticked with clerks in the store that act like they DONT want to be there and are snippy with me
I WILL and have left my whole cart full of stuff and walked out door
GRRRRR

Also my siblings can get me all the time lol but now I have learnt to BITE back and yeppers it feels greatttttttttttttttt

As horrible as this is to say....yes I do get irritated very easily by almost everyone. I just have so much on my mind and when others come to me with things that could be handled just by using their brain, it irritates me so badly and sometimes I show it. I really hate to be that way but that's just the way it is right now at this point of my life.

Not usually.  I tend to buck up and keep things inside.  I do have my moments though but just walk away and take some deep breaths and go back.

Not at all. I am very patient when it comes to friends, family and co workers. I am very understanding, accepting and open minded and am well aware that everyone is different. I guess I could say that is one of my good traits! gillx

Hey Bro, you and I are truly much alike as I am over sensitive and I know it, that is the stuff part. I am actually beginning to think I am obessive about what others think of me and then I go on the defense.

Big Sis, we have family that try to go out of their way to ruffle our feathers and I knee jerk...........I  know all my bad habits but I am still a work in progress.

Gilly...........can we have a gene transplant?  turn
