I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder. If you often feel very anxious without reason and your worries disrupt your daily life, you may have generalized anxiety disorder. Generalized anxiety disorder causes excessive or unrealistic anxiety and worry — well beyond what's appropriate for a situation.
I feel a component of GAD is Anticipatory Anxiety which is usually where I end up if I don't try to stop the stinking thinkin in it's tracks.
Many times we experience anxiety in anticipation of doing something new or before completion of a major task or life event.
Anticipatory anxiety = “what if” worries. "What if I never get better ?", What if I have a panic attack?"
This kind of thinking causes a lot of anticipatory anxiety that can lead to avoiding certain activities.
Well that is what I experience. I hope that your med issues right themselves with more time.
Take care,
Kitt
