Welcome to HealingWell and the A & P Forum. 1st of all, you are not crazy, no one here is crazy. We all have a mental health disorder or issues but we are not crazy.
What's normal mental health and what's not?
How you perceive your own thoughts, behaviors and functioning can help determine what's normal for you. You may realize that you aren't coping well or that you aren't able to or don't care to do routine activities or the things you used to enjoy. If you have anxiety or depression, the dishes may go unwashed for days, you may stop bathing or you may lose interest in hobbies. You may feel sad, hopeless or discouraged and realize that something's amiss, that you don't enjoy life anymore. Or you may not be able to pinpoint what's wrong.
In your case you have recognized that something is not right and have already seen a physician. This is awesome news and I support you.
OCD obsessions are repeated, persistent and unwanted ideas, thoughts, images or impulses that you have involuntarily and that seem to make no sense. These obsessions typically intrude when you're trying to think of or do other things. Your frequent conversations that your play and replay in your mind do fit under obsessive thinking.
I know that with help you are going to overcome these thoughts.
Coming here and joining a support group was a good thing for you to choose to do.
Again a warm welcome,
Kitt
