I use to have anxiety attacks that I would go down. They would start with chest pains, then sweating, then dizziness, then trouble breathing.
The Dr.s all thought that something was wrong with my heart. So after many ekg's......some on the floor of my home. I went through very fancy test to test and see my heart....but it was fine.
I got to where doing just about anything gave me one. They got worse and worse. And it was hard to live outside of my home. And even there I was not safe from them. Really scary with two small children. Who by the way could tell when I was getting one.
I had been put on zanax. But they made me very tired and gave me a sort of hangover. And it was dangerous to drive on it.
My phyciatrist finally put me on lamical for a begging for something to balance my mind.
My thoughts could bring these chest pains on. I begged to be less sensitive to things around me.
This drug was very strong for me in a very small dose. 25 mg. laid me out the first day. I was so relaxed and felt so well. No worries. But no driving either.
The Dr.s very slowly increase the dosage every two or three weeks. I would advise not taking it in the morning. And take it at night. So that the sleepy aspects will tone down by the time you get up in the morning.
I found that all antipresents got my heart rate up and made me feel worse.
