mungos update escitalopram now

Hello again,

so just got back from the dr and he has put me on 10mg of escitalopram. i have heard that this can be a very good choise for the older folk like me.

so tomorrow i will start and upday as i go along.

I f anyone has had this drug would be interested to hear from you.

ps. 1 thing i found out is that same ssri do not like nicotine, so i wll be given up smoking tomorrow as i know that this does not help my anxiety.

Hey Mungo,

Escitalopram is Lexapro. The med for stopping smoking is Wellbutrin. But I think it is good you are looking at giving up smoking.

I was on Lexapro but it did not work for me. I am now on Wellbutrin and it too is not working. I seem to be very sensitive to the new medications on the market and may just go back to not using any of the Antidepressants.
