Hi! I am new! I was on Paxil for 10 years but got off of it because it made me so tired I could not function anymore. I did not know it was the Paxil until a process of elimination. I thought I was cured from my excessive worrying. But without the Paxil, I am worrying about
everything again and driving everyone crazy. Getting off the Paxil was a killer! But I survived. I did not want to take meds anymore. But I can't take it anymore. I just started seeing a therapist and got back on meds. But they make me so tired I don't like to take them. The only thing that does not make me tired is Buspar. But it only kinda works. It takes away the gonna throw up and diahrea feeling but I still worry and my heart is always pounding. I have tried taking the meds at night. But that does not help either. I am a VP at a big company and need to be able to stay wake, alert
, and be on time. I also have a 4 year old (which is why I cannot tolerate the tiredness).
I was recently prescribed Ativan, Wellbutrin, Klonopin, and Concerta. I took them as prescribed for 4 days but could not take the drowsiness. So I took the Buspar and the Concerta and felt GREAT for 3 days. I thought I had found the magic potion. But then I could feel it wearing off and I am right back to worrying. I was so hopeful for those 3 days.
Do any of you have this issue? Is there any way to counteract the drowsiness? Any suggestions?
