Anti-anxiety Medications

Do anti-anxiety medications differ in their efficacy from individual to individual like antidepressants do? I've been taking Klonopin but don't really feel it's controlling my anxiety as much as I'd like. Should I experiment with different anti-anxiety meds to find the right one?

Sometimes med just don't work for each of the same. I currently take Xanax as needed for my anxiety and it works well for me. Maybe you should talk to your doc about your feelings on this med and see if he can switch you to something that might work better for you.

What dosage is your Klonopin?

I take sublingual ativan as needecd for extreme anxiety n panic..also am on diazapam ,,,hoping you can find smtg that will work for you ..i never had luck with klonies at all..tk care n keep posting as Nanners said we are all different in reaction to meds...stay with us...lyn

If you don't mind my asking, how much SL ativan do you find yourself needing? I am just recently starting to use it more and more, and find 2mg doesn't even cut it for me anymore, when not even 6 months ago 0.5 mg would do it. I realize tolerance is one thing, but this has been a very acute change for me in a short period.
