To those who take or have taken Klonopin

Good morning my dear friends,

If you have read my posts you will see that I just started on a pretty significant dose of klonopin.

My question is does that extremly tired effect wear off at all while you continue to take it? Did it help you in the long run?

I know it is addictive but my doc said he has no worries about addiction for me just that when it is time to come off I need to wean off really slowly.

After my first dose 1mg in the morning my eyes cross and I can't focus. I feel drunk. He said I could cut my afternoon dose in half but it doesn't seem to work as well.

Well I haven't taken that high of a dose, but from what I've read, the side effects will go away just as kitt has said. Klonopin has been invaluable to me, though. I'm aware of its drawbacks and it sounds like you are, too, but very quickly it made my life manageable. I'd hang in there and stay in contact with your doctor.
