I feel crazy and worried...Help me someone!

Hi guys it me again pinkmelody.I had a very hard time over the weekend.This is what happened...I got this chest pain on my left side the night before.I started worrying about all night....still feeling the pain.Then I started feeling other pains.Woke up.worried bout the pain.I felt the chest pain.I started crying because I sick of it.Then I started crying really hard.I did not know what to do.i panic so bad that my daughter tried to calm me down.My son came out of his room and looked at me and called 911.I was mad that they called.The dispatcher asked my daughter what am i wearing do i have a weapon all this crazy crap.10 cops came to the house.I told them i was not crazy.Then the paramedics and the fire department came.Hooked me up to a machine.but before they did that they turned off the t.v.They said everything was alright,but they would still take me to the hospital to check me out so i can not have that doubt about my heart.they called it in to the emergency room and that was it.I guess the emergency room said i was okay.to be honest i dont know what they said.but the paramedics said i can still go to get the doubt out of my head.What was the machine they hooked me up too?I jst really need some advice and some support.I cant take the way i feel.I feel like i'm going crazy like in circles...Please someone.

I think they hooked you up to a EKG machine that see's how your heart is beating. Evidently your heart showed it was beating fine and a regular rhythm, so NO heart attack. I hope you have some fast acting meds to take to help you calm yourself. Good luck!

Melody are you under a doctors care. My wife has anxiety attacks and she takes paxil. I've been going thru a lot myself dealing with cancer and the doc put me on zoloft. It appears u may need a medical evalutation to determine whats going on. Hi Lucious,I am under a doctors care.let me just tell u so u can get a better understanding.July of 09 i felt chest pain,and feeling worried and crying.I went to my primary care doctor.I told him what was going on.He ordered an ekg to be done.Everything was normal.He said its anxiety.He said i needed to talk to a professional.So come to find out i cant because of my insurance.basically i dont have none.so he gave me zanex.I did not like the way it made me feel.so to make a long story short.I got on ativan.0.5 mg.so i found a free clinic and talk to a doc there.she said my blood pressure was up.mind u after crying really hard.so i'm on blood pressure meds and ativan.I mean i do feel better but i get these attacks.she also put me on some depression meds,but i'm afraid to take them.What time will u be on chat?I'm west coast time. : )

Melody1000 at the first hint of your anxiety starting take the Ativan and lie down. If I do that at the first hint of it, I have stopped the attack in its tracks. Good luck!

I think that is exactly what Nanners is saying...........try to stop the panic or anxiety before it gets out of control.



It is a bit like staying on top of pain instead of trying to catch up once your pain is severe.
