Hey Hazelnut. I am THE most stressed out person regarding heart rates :D
So I understand your worry.
To answer your question, my resting heart rate is between 50-70bpm normally. I realize that's a relatively large gap, but that's where I seem to be. My own issue is that it I start to 'freak out' for no reason and it gets to over 180bpm for long durations.
Anything over 90bpm and I can feel an adrenaline surge coming on and start panicking. I guess that's my issue, my heart can go from 50bpm to over 180bpm in a matter of seconds (without physical exertion).
There's nothing wrong with your heart rate where it is.
If you're worried about it constantly, just inform your doctor.
You know your body better than anyone, if it's low for you, get it checked. Nothing wrong with that peace of mind.
Mine sometimes drops into the 40's and I don't get it. I'm not in good physical shape, yet I know the lower it is resting...the 'healthier' you supposedly are. I'm not on any medications except my asthma meds, and the occasional sublingual ativan that I need...Personally I find it hard to do any decent amount of cardio due to my asthma as well as my fear of my heart beating too fast :P Kind of a catch 22.
Anyway, you take care of yourself.
