I'm wondering if this is just a one off thing or somehow tied to my anxiety. I was a chaperone for my daughter's first grade trip to the zoo yesterday. We ended up having an extra long and bumpy bus ride because there was an accident on the thruway and the bus had to exit and go through side streets for awhile. My daughter picked the seat on the emergency exit row that doesn't have a window that opens up. I was fine at first, but I was starting to feel car sick to the point where I was afraid I might actually throw up. I started feeling anxious because there was no place to do this and it would be very embarassing for me. I did make it to the zoo without incident and I was starting to feel better when I exited the bus, but as I was walking with the kids to the entrance I kept having this burning feeling on the front of my calves. It wasn't a muscle pain, it felt like when your legs are in the sun for too long or like I spilled something hot on my legs. I kept wiping off my legs thinking maybe something got on them. It was raining lightly when I got off the bus. The sensation stopped after about 5 minutes, but it was the strangest thing. It was almost like the blood in my veins was heated up. Can anyone relate? I have never had this happen before.
