Hi Addie, sorry to hear that this has been a hard week. I know the dissapointment of feeling like you are having a setback. It's hard not to ask "Why is this happening again/now ect..." Anxiety can and will rear it's ugly head at any time. Healing is not a linear path. There will be good days, and then all of a sudden along comes a bad one. The important thing to remember is that you are making progress. I am so glad to hear that you are going to start therapy! It seriously changed my life. I was cought in a panic cycle with the most horrifying physical symptoms-I thought I was seriously ill. Though it took some time (so be patient w/it) the therapy allowed me to take control of my thoughts, which ultimately helped me control the A/P.
Also consider the fact that being a new mom, though wonderful, can take its toll on your overall energy. When fatigued, it's easier to succumb to anxiety and depression. Be sure to eat well, exercise and get plenty of rest if you can!
Don't be nervous about
your upcoming therapy-it'll be great. Keep us posted.
Take Care,
Scardey Cat
