nervous stomach upon waking...any tips?

I never took Zoloft but certainly anytime I have had an increase in any dose or any med, there were temporary side effects. Different side effects for different meds. I'd give it a while to see if it subsides bc things like this usually do. Just try to chalk it up to simply a temporary side effect and it will go away soon. If it doesnt you will still be alright, just call your doc and let them know.

 

Do you take the Zoloft first thing in the morning (or another time)? Maybe taking it a bit earlier would ease your mind knowing that it's already at work in your system.

It sounds like the wondering of how your day will go is causing anxiety. But when your mind is active and you're in the midst of the day you said you feel better. I would suggest then that you use some positive affirmations when you first wake up. Remind yourself that today can be a good day even if you're not 100% anxiety free. Each day you're moving forward, learning, and growing. All those little steps will add up and maybe you can then ask instead of "will I panic today?", "what will I learn today or how will I grow?".
